Since its establishment in 1947, Ethiopia Adventist College (EAC) has educated thousands of students who came to our beautiful campus from the local communities, around the country, and even other parts of the world. The motto of our institution is “Head, Heart, and Hand”. The head represents the brain with which God has blessed us to learn and gain understanding of the spiritual, natural, and physical phenomena. The heart represents service to God and humanity. The education students acquire at EAC instills in their hearts the importance of serving, being compassionate, and empathetic to the needs of others. The hand signifies the experiential learning in which our students are engaged during their matriculation at EAC. Our students work in various departments across the campus to earn money for their tuition and most importantly, gain the skills they will need to be well-rounded-professionals.
We teach our students to be critical thinkers and gain the skills they need to solve everyday problems. As a Seventh – Day Adventist institution of higher education, EAC provides Christ-centered education that prepares students to become highly competitive and productive professionals. As beautifully stated by Ellen G. White (1903), the youth are to be thinkers and not mere reflectors of other people’s thoughts. They are trained to be leaders in their areas of expertise and become exemplary citizens.
During its more than seven decades of existence, Ethiopia Adventist College has faced many adversities and challenges, but it has proven to be resilient and continues to fulfill its original mission. Like virtually all institutions in the country and around the world, EAC has been also greatly impacted by the Covid -19 pandemic. On EAC campus, all students, employees, and visitors are strictly required to wear their masks and keep social distancing to prevent the spread of the Corona virus. We cannot ignore this serious disease that continues to infect people and claim the lives of many in our country and around the globe. We need the cooperation of everyone to keep our campus to be a safe place for everyone.
Thank you for choosing EAC for your education or for the education of your children or for referring your family and friends to our College. As always, we strive to improve the academic quality and other areas of services to meet the needs of our students. If you have any innovative ideas to make EAC a better institution, please share them with us at email@example.com and we will value your suggestions and give them serious considerations.
With Kind Regards,
Safawo Gullo, D.V.M, MS, Ph.D.

EAC Core Values
The wholistic development of students is the bedrock of Seventh-day Adventist education. The Adventist philosophy of education encapsulates this intent, as it promotes the expectation that students will not only grow intellectually, but also spiritually and physically as a result of each course of study. This unique approach to education is intended to serve the dual purpose of preparing the student for useful service on earth as well as for eternal life in heaven.

Words from Our Alumni
It was an eye opening to embark on the education system where faith and learning was integrated after spending years of childhood life in secular, government schools. Faith provided unique insight to look at education, especially sciences, from the Creator’s point of view.
The most important thing about EAC that I enjoyed the most is the atmosphere of learning with respect to the campus location. Being located on the outskirt of beautiful green hill, it provides relaxing atmosphere for students to focus on their studies accompanied by the sound of the music of nature.
Attending Ethiopia Adventist Academy staying in the dorm was the most memorable moment of my academic life. We made good friends with whom we communicate until today after over 15 years. We were nurtured not only academically, but also socially, spiritually and morally through chapel programs and club trips.
